Course Description:
In the real estate market, the kitchen has become the most important room in buying and selling a home. The kitchen is often thought of as the heart of a home and is given the greatest investment, making it a critical area of study for architects, designers, and engineers. This course will guide students through the process of designing both functional and beautiful kitchens.
Learning Objectives:
Understand and convey the spatial organization and layout
Create kitchen specific architectural drawings
Understand the use of materials, finishes and fixtures as design elements
Research and specify fixtures, lighting, materials, and finishes
Course requirements/expectations:
Course will be performed by using digital tools
Course will be supplemented with AutoCAD and Adobe training courses
Homework is required for the completion of this course
