Course Description:
Bathrooms were once overlooked and understated rooms but this notion has already started to change. There are more opportunities than ever due to the need to add, update, and renovate these spaces in both residential and commercial settings. This course will guide students through the process of designing both functional and beautiful bathrooms.
Learning Objectives:
Understand and convey the spatial organization and layout
Create bathroom specific architectural drawings
Understand the use of materials, finishes and fixtures as design elements
Research and specify fixtures, lighting, materials, and finishes
Course requirements/expectations:
Course will be performed by using digital tools
Course will be supplemented with AutoCAD and Adobe training courses
Homework is required for the completion of this course
