Course Description:
Architectural Drafting includes the creation of highly detailed drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and details by utilizing computer programs such as AutoCAD. Through the course we will compile a schematic set of drawings to understand general drawing and sheet layouts, drawings scales, dimensions, and annotations.
Learning Objectives:
Learn to read technical architectural and engineering drawings
Requires the production of plans, sections, elevations, and 3D views and models of a simple building
Proper use of dimensioning, detailing, and annotations
Course requirements/expectations:
Course will be performed by using digital tools
Course will be supplemented with AutoCAD training courses
Homework is required for the completion of this course
